About this Position:

We are seeking for a Warehouse Lead to join our client's team.

  • In charge for liaising with suppliers and customers, recruiting and motivating staff, monitoring work performance, supervising team leaders, and making sure safety rules are being followed.
  •  Responsible for the operation of a section within the Warehouse function. Supporting the Management Team with the day-to-day operation of the warehouse, responsible for a group of operators and ensuring an efficient warehouse operation in achieving business targets.
  • Provide line management to the team, coordinating their workloads, providing support to ensure that the team delivers, monitoring any issues, and ensuring production targets, KPIs, and quality standards are met in order to meet the requirements of the customer. Process paperwork of RMA's and RTV's as directed from purchasing dept.
  • Operate forklift to replenish inventory and preform other tasks throughout the warehouse using WMS system.
  • Pick orders accurately from inventory locations via RF equipment.
  • Coordinate safety meetings and create presentations and procedures base on OSHA requirements.
  • Apply warehouse management expertise in the implementation of a leading WMS technology within a global distribution center
  • Ensure all personnel comprehend safety regulations according to OSHA regulations to include safety classes given weekly.
  • Direct inbound and outbound logistics operations, including transportation, warehouse activities, safety performance, and logistics quality management.
  • Maintain and develop positive business relationships with a customer's key personnel involve in or directly relevant to a logistics activity.
  • Lead the team in the receiving process, pack and ship fulfillment, process RTVS, penny stock, damages.
  • Plan and organize receipt and issue of records for all classes of supply to include HAZMAT material and petroleum base products.
  • Receive inventory into ERP system for stocking and issuing.
  • Assist with developing a new ERP system concentrating on warehousing functions.
  • Ship hazardous materials according to HazMat regulations.

Workplace Location:
Applicants will work in the customer's facilities in Ridgefield, NJ
