About this opportunity:

Albion Staffing Solutions is looking for a Purchasing Manager to work at a company located in the Miami Gardens, FL area. 

  • Initiates purchase orders and contracts for parts, services, and/or special tools.
  • Arranges for submission and inspection of sample products as required. Closely coordinates with various Departments to assure timely execution of product and service sourcing activities.
  • Secures and analyzes quotes, negotiates price, transportation, and terms with suppliers. Recommends suppliers with respect to cost, quality, and delivery competitiveness.
  • Develops supply plan and strategy. Researches market prices, trends, engineering developments and manufacturing methods and suggests improvements when applicable. 
  • Establishes Purchasing Policies and ensure compliance. 
  • Manage inventory controls and cycle count development. 

We prefer candidates with 5 years of experience in purchasing and inventory. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Industrial Engineer or related area of study is also preferred. Strong Microsoft Excel,  communication (written and verbal) and negotiation skills.
