Job Description

The Payroll Time Keeping Specialist is an entry- to intermediate-level payroll support position responsible for the preparation, transmission, and distribution of accurate, timely, and bi-weekly payrolls for employees, which consists of local and out-of-state employees. Will conduct historical edits in Kronos. Must have excellent math skills.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education
•High School Diploma or GED Certificate.
•Associates Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field is preferred.

Additional Requirements
•Experience in payroll processing is preferred.
•Experience with HRIS, payroll, and timekeeping systems is highly desirable; experience with Oracle and Kronos a plus.
•Proficient in computers, including Microsoft Office applications including Excel, e-mail, and Internet.
•Basic knowledge of applicable regulations, rules, procedures, and administration is required.
•Basic math proficiency.
•Proficient in 10-key and strong data entry skills.
•Effective communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated patience and tact.
•Ability to work effectively with various departments, timekeepers, different levels of management, and Team Members.
•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high-volume payroll transactions and with constant interruptions.
•Excellent time management skills and ability to work within strict deadlines.

1-2month Contract Assignment
