About this opportunity:
Albion Staffing is seeking for an Order Picker. This is a Temp-to-Hire position.

Job Responsibilities: 

The Order Picker is responsible for the accurate and timely picking, packing, preparation and shipping of all customer shipments and production jobs and is responsible for accurate material handling and cycle count functions. Must complete all paperwork and coding. Responsible for storing items in proper place. Must ensure received goods are checked for damage. The Order Picker must transport pallets or individual containers of finished goods to storage area using forklift, pallet dolly or other equipment as required. Each candidate is responsible for staying current on standard work procedures and for performing all job duties in a manner consistent with plant customer service, quality and expense management targets

  • Receive raw materials and packaging supplies, verification of materials received, identify discrepancies, complete paperwork, code items, and store items in proper location. Update inventory system.
  • Transport pallets or individual containers of finished goods to storage area using propane powered forklift, pallet dolly, or other equipment, as required.
  • Use of pick lists, internal inventory locater system, to accurately pick products. Visually check the appearance and condition of products prior to shipping.
  • Accurately and promptly complete documentation, either on paper, via scanner, or be entering data into computer.
  • Track distribution and quality data as requested.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Qualifications:   

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Two years’ experience in warehouse and forklift experience required
  • Fork truck certified or ability to be fork truck certified
  • Attention to detail, good communicator
  • Meet physical requirements of position

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Fork Truck certification

Workplace Location:
Applicants will work in the customer's facility - located in Doral, FL.
